Painting Report - December 2020

 Happy new year everybody!

As some of you may already know I am an extremely slow painter, there is no way I would be able to pull off more than a few miniatures a month. Furthermore I am easily distracted, and am constantly jumping between different periods. So I came to a conclusion that I need to change my posting schedule. I really don't want to spam Bennos or the Blog with like two or three figures (each from different period/theme) every two weeks. So here comes the first monthly (hopefully) painting report. That way I don't need to create five different topics each with two photos of a single miniature.

The Women of war

A bit of an unusual bunch of miniatures coming straight from the Caesar set. It was rather quick paintjob as I'm working on a big (~40 figures) Napoleonic project and have limited time for other things. Enjoy!

Random Early War Wehrmacht

WW2 101st Airborne

Paratroopers from American 101st Airborne in classic m42 uniform . Something unusual from me. Miniatures come from Esci set.

Soviet Sniper

Finally, after a busy November I had some time to paint something and decided to paint one of Zvezda's soviet sniper from their Art of Tactic range.. Great pose and sculpture as always. Painted in classic summer uniform. I guess that's all,  not much this month. Enjoy the photos!

And I couldn't resist painting yet another 1/72 scale miniature. This time it's Wehrmacht officer from WW2. It was just a quick 2 hour paintjob after school, but a good one! He's from Zvezda Art of Tactic range and sculpting is really superior. I wanted to make him look like worn out eastern front veteran, so he has 5 o'clock shadow on his face. Enjoy!
